CLEVELAND HIGH BORE XL DRIVER

I play with some guys who sky the ball and they were always able to get over trees on the egde of some dog legs which puts them in superb position for their second shot. I hit the 9. Shafts have a lot to do with spin. Giving a good hard swing at the 1st hole saw the ball slicing off. I hit 50 balls most of which went straight but none rose more than 10 feet off the ground and covered no distance at all, I felt somewhat disappointed.

Gotta hit it in bpre top half of the clubface. I preferred the I have the Tour. Notify me of follow-up comments by email.

I feel that any good swinger of the golf club should give the tour head xl a whirl. It hits nice controlled fades for me, that still have plenty of roll out. I think I am going to enjoy this driver, unfortunately I have only played one round with it, and we all know how things can change, but, I did tie my best score ever I quickly concluded that Cleveland did not have anything like a draw swing in mind when they created the XLS the XLS Tour may be a better match for those who currently hit draws or straight drives with a square or open-faced driver.

I used Cleveland Launcher Ti 9. I am just a golf nut that who is still trying to figure out the game of golf. For others it may be considered a bit of a hook stick.

Cleveland HiBORE XLS Driver Review (Clubs, Review) - The Sand Trap

I sold the HiBore and left well enough alone. I am a 10 handicap golfer who tends to hit everything high. Every time I have hit the XL Pro it has produced a casual draw or a dead straight piercing ball flight that looks like it will never stop rolling when it comes down. I have always been a long ball hitter, but sometimes when I would really try to rip one and I mean really, really rip one I would get really wild and end up with a ton of spin on the ball resulting in either a huge fade, huge draw, or a ball that climbed to the stratosphere.

x,

The club looks, feels, and sounds great and I recommend the curious ones out there to check cleeland out on the course. Cleveland is placing titanium spines inside the clubhead to direct impact energy to the ball to create more efficient energy transfer and high ball speeds from impact locations. Cleveland HiBore XL Drivers

It is not magic. Carlo, I am not a club-fitter.

If finding fairways is your primary goal, the XLS does a good job of it once you find the groove. After owning a Cleveland Halo 3i last year, I wanted to own a matching driver.

The Deep Rough | Review: Cleveland HiBORE XL

Swapped the custom shaft from my old Hibore so that my new set up is an XL Posted 28 November - Jared M is right on. No more 3 iron tee shots for me. I got the XLS Draw 9 degree with the stiff red shaft. It also produces good distance and a good trajectory, however even with the stiff red shaft the ball flies very high. With this club I can now do the same and had my first eagle putt as a result although I ended the hole with a birdie. I have the Cleveland launcher and need a heck more yards to catch up with these guys.

The open face corrects that draw. In the image just above, note the longer body on the standard version, meant to increase stability on off-center hits like the FT-i, the SUMO 2or the D1.

I played again last Friday and hit the ball well again. If you hit a high ball, go with the red shaft. Posted 15 October -
