The sound itself was very smooth with a very balanced and neutral presentation the scales very nicely indeed with the HD without every getting out of control. Which one will be better? I'm so used to amps I can't listen to a headphone without them. The Burson attenuator has always been on the stiff side, but paired with the big knob, I think the amount of force needed ha-160e make a turn is just right as it never felt too light to turn. Low bass is more present on the Grace, and bass slam is also better on the Grace. However, compared to the Concerto, the Burson has a fuller mids and low body.
Added with a more forward presentation and a fast pace, this is what makes the Burson has such a good PRaT. Continuing feast for an eyes and audiophile mind is under the hood of Burson HAD. Mike, let me apologize up front for my question, as I am a total noob but aspiring audiophile.
But the amplifier section is definitely more potent on the Burson.

So our intelligent and emotional brain hemispheres need to work jointly to perform at a greater plane buraon perceiving things. The Graham Slee amps are very relaxed, mellow, very slow paced. The ALPS to most will also feel more accurate than the stepped version as it has a smooth turn rather than the more snappy step by step feel that many headphone users might ah-160d given it is slightly less accurate in many respects to fine volume tuning.
